In celebration of their 90th anniversary, family-owned Italian design company Porro presents Cabinet of Curiosities, a collection of unique “boxes” by renowned Italian and international designers. Founded in 1925 in the Brianza region, Porro stands out for its unique capacity to select, process and interpret wood using the latest advances in technology. It is recognized as a “system tailor” thanks to its storage collections that are designed to adapt to--and enhance--any interior environment.
Thoughts move rapidly, fly away and are often lost. A project: a box with a key holding many boxes to hide thoughts, but small objects as well, stationeries, small chocolates, it is changed into a matryoshka, a game for children, a paperweight cube.

Finishes: ash, heat treated elm, heat treated walnut, natural hemlock, heat treated oak, heat treated tanne, domestic walnut.
